Our goal is to encourage, lift and strengthen each other through the most difficult journey of loss. The loss of a loved one to suicide. MEETINGS ARE HELD THE FIRST WEDNESDAY OF EACH MONTH TIME: 7 p.m. WHERE: 500 E 1400 N, Logan UT. Equine Therapy: Crossing Arrows RanchOur mission at Crossing Arrows Ranch is to provide support to people of all ages that are struggling with their own unique circumstances through horse-based therapy. We provide them with nature-focused experiences that build the skills necessary to face challenges they experience in their lives. Crossing Arrows Ranch is about creating an accepting non-judgmental environment. We are real people that have experienced our own personal challenges, we do not pretend to be perfect, but we will show you what resilience is. Music TherapyHeather Overly has been practicing music therapy for 20 years. Heather received her BS in Music Therapy at Utah State University in 2001 and has been Board Certified to practice since graduation. She completed a 6-month internship at Sunshine Terrace under the direction of Jennifer Birchell. She is the owner of Overlymusical LLC, which serves a variety of clients such as adults with addictions, Elderly with memory impairments, Hospice patients, children, teens, and adults with special needs. She also teaches music development classes for parents and children ages 0-5 years old and group guitar lessons for teens and adults. Heather loves music therapy and believes music can assist in healing and growth for many clients. Heather is the mother of four children and resides in Cache Valley with her husband Devin. |

Hannah Paxton LCSWHannah is someone who believes that clients should feel empowered to be able to make their own changes, and reach goals that are personalized to them. With her experience, she has done extensive work with teenagers, and those with severe mental health issues. She has also enjoyed working with adult clients, specializing in trauma-based care. Hannah has also worked directly with families through group family sessions to help navigate complex relationships, or other issues.
Hannah is trained in a variety of modalities to be able to connect therapeutically with her clients. She has been certified in EMDR, DBT, CBT, and Equine Assisted Psychotherapy. Throughout each session, the Strengths Based Perspective will also be used. Her interest in the justice system, and advocacy for victims of abuse throughout her career has led to her being trained in trauma-based care, and resiliency. Hannah is dedicated to providing support, coping skills, and a positive plan for her clients. When she’s not in the office, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband, daughter, and baby boy—kayaking, taking walks, watching movies, and soaking up the sun whenever possible. |
